This group of two one sheets includes the recalled "Revenge of the Jedi" style, as designed by Drew Struzan. Originally rolled, it was professionally linen-backed without any restoration and is in outstanding condition, with only a few scattered crimps in the upper-left background area. Also included is the film's 10th-Anniversary one sheet, produced by Kilian Enterprises and featuring artwork by Drew Struzan. This poster is authenticated by the machine-numbered serial number in the lower border. This example is rolled in superb condition, displaying only a small number of light border creases and some crimping.
"Return of the Jedi," directed by Richard Marquand and written by George Lucas and Lawrence Kasdan, is the third film in the original Star Wars trilogy. It follows the Rebel Alliance's mission to destroy the Empire's second Death Star while Luke Skywalker seeks to redeem Darth Vader. Starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher, it was filmed in England, California, and Arizona, with extensive Industrial Light & Magic effects, and grossed $374 million worldwide, the highest of 1983.
