TIE Fighter over Death Star Equator Supersnipe prints from the New York comic art gallery Supersnipe. Part-owned by George Lucas at the time of Star Wars release, Supersnipe was a gallery specializing in the illustrations of famous comics artists, and was one of the very first retailers to offer art prints to budding collectors in the wake of the films meteoric success. Four prints of artwork were offered by Supersnipe based on production artwork by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie and effects artist Joe Johnston.the epic George Lucas' Star Wars trilogy.
This print, based on art by Johnston for the first Star Wars film, depicts TIE fighters flying over the surface of the Death Star.
