A hero X-Wing fuselage and pyro rear plate from the Star Wars film and television franchise. Pyro models were simpler casts taken from hero models and rigged to be blown up for effects shots. This production-made fuselage shell is for a hero style X-Wing model. The hero models had fuselages made in top and bottom configurations while the pyrotechnic models used side by side configurations.

Both pieces are made of resin, and the fuselage features "glass cloth here" handwritten in red ink on the underside. The pyro plate features pencil marks and an armature hole. Similar models can be seen in behind-the-scenes photos from the making of the original film trilogy. Dimensions (fuselage): 19" x 3.25" x 2" (48.25 cm x 8.25 cm x 5 cm)

Estimate: $4,000 - 8,000
