Star Wars - Ep V - The Empire Strikes Back

Original Production Storyboard - Full Shot Boba Fett's Ship Takes Off In Sunset

Stock #88852

"He's all yours, bounty hunter.

A production-used Boba Fett storyboard copy from Irvin Kershner's 1980 sci-fi classic, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. After the original storyboard was approved, copies were made and distributed to the various department heads during pre-production.

This storyboard depicts a moment after the bounty hunter Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) has had Han Solo (Harrison Ford) frozen in carbonite and loaded onto his ship. The ship then takes off from Cloud City, off to an unknown destination.

The storyboard features a printed description beneath the illustration – 'FULL SHOT, INT. EAST LANDING PLATFORM - Boba Fett's ship takes off against cloud sky at sunset' – with some additional notes. It is marked as 'Page 2' and 'Shot No. 389P'. As this is an original production storyboard, the scene in the final cut of the film differs somewhat from this illustration.

Printed on salmon pink US Legal-sized paper and hole-punched at the top, the storyboard would have been held together in sequence with the rest of the storyboard pages. It comes beautifully presented in a custom built frame with laser-cut mount board featuring the classic movie title. The display is in excellent condition.
