Star Wars - Ep V - The Empire Strikes Back

Original Production Storyboard - Boba Fett's Ship Takes Off

Stock #88850

”Perfect. You fixed us all real good, didn't you? My friend?”

A production-used Boba Fett storyboard copy from Irvin Kershner's 1980 sci-fi classic, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. After the original storyboard was approved, copies were made and distributed to the various department heads during pre-production.

This storyboard depicts the scene in which bounty hunter Boba Fett (Jeremy Bullock) takes off from Cloud City in his distinctive craft under fire from Leia (Carrie Fisher), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) and Lando (Billy Dee Williams) after handing Han Solo (Harrison Ford) over to Darth Vader (David Prowse).

The storyboard features a printed description beneath the illustration – ‘Dusk – Landing Platform – Boba Fett’s Ship – Cloud City’ – with additional scene and camera directions. It is marked as ‘Page 357’, ‘Shot No. CC31’ and scene ‘389’.

Printed on yellow US Legal-sized paper and hole-punched at the top, the storyboard would have been held together in sequence with the rest of the storyboard pages. It comes beautifully presented in a custom built frame with laser-cut mount board featuring the classic movie title. The display is in excellent condition.

Materials: Wood, Acrylic, Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
