A signed production storyboard from Irvin Kershner's 1980 classic, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. After the original storyboard was approved, copies were made and distributed to the various department heads during pre-production.
The storyboard depicts the scene in which the Millennium Falcon escaped the oesophagus of a huge space slug hiding inside a massive asteroid.
The production used copy has a printed description beneath the illustration and is printed on blue US Legal-sized paper. The page is labelled as part of the 'Asteroids' sequence and is shot number 'A31'. It is hole-punched at the top, indicating that it would have been held together in sequence with the rest of the storyboard pages. This storyboard is signed by special visual effects artist Brian Johnson.
The storyboard comes beautifully presented in a custom-built frame with laser-cut mount board featuring the classic movie title. The display is in excellent condition.
Materials: Wood, Acrylic, Paper, Card.
