"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

A piece of the Death Star model used in George Lucas' 1977 sci-fi adventure Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

This is one of the smaller pieces created by ILM modelmakers for use in creating the large filming miniature of the Death Star surface. Many interlocking abstract pieces were made, this particular piece being formed using biscuit foam construction and painted and detailed to the high ILM standard.

Along with this piece of the iconic space station is a signed original production-used storyboard copy which came from a complete set created for the visual effects sequences. This particular page is a shot of the Death Star from a high altitude. The shot number is 'PP#10' and there is a description of the scene underneath the illustration. It is printed on grey-coloured A4 paper and is hole punched at the bottom from where it was grouped in sequence, forming a comprehensive shot by shot miniature version of the movie's spectacular and ground breaking effects. It has also been signed by the legendary Robert Watts who also served as producer on the Indiana Jones Trilogy and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

This item from the Star Wars universe comes custom-framed with a laser cut mount board featuring the film's title artwork and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.

Materials: Card, Wood, Paper, Foam, Ferrous Metals.
