An Icons Masterpiece Series X-Wing fighter miniature replica model from the first of the original trilogy, Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The X-Wings are the starfighters used by the Rebel Alliance during the attack on the Death Star as it looms over Yavin IV. In the Star War universe they are famous for their excellent manoeuvrability and are a symbol of the Rebels in their fight against the Empire.
Constructed of high quality resin, the model has an incredible level of detail, from the fighter’s S-foils right down to its pilot and R2 unit. The model is hand-painted, with the traditional worn white and red weathered down with greys and blacks to give the fighter the look of a real veteran of the galactic civil war.

The model rests on a transparent plastic pedestal with a square resin base which is moulded to simulate the surface of the Death Star. This is then attached to a secondary black base. The plaque states the model, movie title and that it is only number 7 of 100 made. Signed by Mark Hamill, this is a rare and exceptional collector’s piece.

Unfortunately, this piece has suffered some damage in the past, with damage to one of the engines and one of the laser cannons on the wing as well as marks to the model's base. The acrylic case, which would have sat on top, was also damaged beyond repair, and as such is no longer present.

The piece is supplied with all of its original paperwork detailing the making of the piece and a certificate of authenticity that is signed by Howard Roffman, Vice President of LucasFilm Licensing. The entire display measures 59cm x 51cm x 32cm (23.25” x 20” x 12.5”) and in spite of the aforementioned damage remains in an overall good condition. This is a fantastic opportunity to own such an intricately detailed and iconic replica that’s not to be missed for any Star Wars Fan!
