A storyboard depicting the Millennium Falcon returning to the Rebel Base hand-drawn during pre-production on George Lucas: Star Wars: A New Hope and signed by miniature and optical effects illustrator and designer Joe Johnston. In the film, the Millennium Falcon and other Rebel ships returned to the Rebel base after the destruction of the Death Star.

This storyboard depicting the Falcon alongside X-wing and Y-wing starfighters was created to map out storylines and plan effects shots prior to production. It is rendered in black ink on paper labeled "BD 364" and "Shot 427" and features Johnston's signature in the lower right corner. The storyboard comes with an additional signed sticky note. This lot exhibits creasing from handling and mild edge tearing. Dimensions: 12" x 7" (30.5 cm x 18 cm)
