A full-colour transparency of Tom Chantrell's instantly recognisable artwork from George Lucas' epic space fantasy Star Wars: A New Hope (1977). This transparency would have been used in the production of the Style C poster campaign for the film. Displaying incredible detail and vibrant colour that isn't as evident on a printed poster, this version also lacks Chantrell's distinctive signature. A fact which the artist explained in an interview he gave to a Hammer Horror fansite - "You know I forgot to sign the artwork for "Star Wars" and they weren't very happy because they had asked for me and I think they wanted my name on it. So they got me to sign about half a dozen bits of paper, and these were sent out all over the world so that an artist could put my name on by hand. It was all very funny." Serious Star Wars fans may never have another opportunity to add such a scarce and important piece to their collection from the personal archive of the artist who created the poster.
