A low-altitude Death Star model miniature surface panel from George Lucas' Star Wars: A New Hope. This panel was designed and constructed by Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) as part of the vast miniature Death Star set, specifically for shots where Rebel fighters flew close to its massive surface. Pieces of the set were later given out to attendees at the premiere of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

This biscuit foam panel is decorated with cast greeblies of different styles and finished in industrial grey paint. Its bottom remains unpainted, and it exhibits some small fractures and grime from production and age. Dimensions: 15.25 cm x 23 cm x 2.5 cm (6" x 9" x 1")
