A light-up Starfleet assault phaser from Nicholas Meyer's Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Assassins used Starfleet assault phasers to frame James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Leonard "Bones" McCoy (DeForest Kelley) for the murder of Klingon Chancellor Gorkon (David Warner). Phasers of this style first appeared in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

Released in time for Star Trek's 25th anniversary, The Undiscovered Country earned two Oscar nominations, two Academy Awards® nominations, and is the only Star Trek film to win a Saturn Award®. It was received well by audiences and received positive reviews from critics.

This phaser is composed of resin painted black with a textured handgrip, a slotted barrel, a tooled aluminum muzzle and back portion. It features a vacuum-formed sliding, which conceals the 9V battery that powers the light in the muzzle when the trigger is depressed. Additionally, it features a red plate at the bottom of the grip which features the Starfleet emblem and is numbered as "117." This phaser has undergone sympathetic restoration to repair the internal wires. This phaser exhibits cracked paint and scuffing throughout, exposing the resin on the body, a loose slide, and a buildup of grime. Dimensions: 10" x 7.5" x 2.5" (25.5 cm x 19 cm x 6.5 cm)
