A Starfleet Academy trainer craft filming model miniature from Star Trek: The Next Generation. In Season 5, Episode 19, "The First Duty," the Nova Squadron attempted a banned Kolvoord Starburst flight maneuver which led to the death of a teammate. The subsequent investigation by Starfleet Academy used recordings of the incident during the hearing, and later Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) showed Cadet Crusher (Wil Wheaton) the simulation with Academy Training Crafts.

Built by master model maker Greg Jein, this model miniature is composed of resin and styrene components. It was painted in shades of tan and khaki, and features red trim decals as well as Starfleet insignia throughout. This lot exhibits lifted adhesive, scuffing, minor cracking, and a buildup of grime in the fine crevices. Dimensions: 15" x 12" x 2.5" (38 cm x 30.5 cm x 6.5 cm)
