A bust modelled on the Ferengi, from the sci-fi television series Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The Ferengi were regular antagonists and occasional allies of the Federation. This bust was created for the exhibition Star Trek: Federation Science, which toured around the USA and Europe during the 1990s and early 2000s, and was produced from the original production moulds.

The foam latex bust is hand-painted, with resin eyes and tooth, and features a distinctive Ferengi headdress around the back of the head. It sits on a black, wooden base, and has some wear from use and age, including scuffing, scratches and small cracks in the latex, most notably along the seams on the shoulders. Overall it remains in very good condition.
