Janice Rand's (Grace Lee Whitney) production-made Starfleet uniform from Robert Wise's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Rand wore her Starfleet uniform while she performed her duty as transporter chief aboard the Enterprise as Kirk took command of the ship to investigate the alien entity moving toward Earth.

This costume consists of a fitted, long-sleeve tan poly-blend top with a black resin life support monitor belt buckle attached to the front, a cream-colour cotton bra, and a pair of matching tan poly-blend trousers with an elastic waistband. The interior of the top and trousers feature hand-marked Paramount labels for "Grace Whitney" in blue ink. This costume exhibits discolouration, pulled threads and frayed fibres, as well as scuffing on the buckle.
