Hikaru Sulu's (George Takei) helm station control panel from Robert Wise's sci-fi film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. As the Enterprise helmsman, Sulu helped fly the ship with his control panel.

This lot consists of a black acrylic panel designed to appear illuminated when backlit. It features 38 clear buttons and a yellow half-cylindrical light cover. When illuminated from behind, the panel shows labels for "Neural Command Override" and "Comp Monitor In Put." The rear has an acrylic box held in place with metal screws and a metal spring attached to a tab. Included is a 10" x 7" (25.5 cm x 18 cm) production photography sheet. This lot exhibits adhesive residue and scratches on the panel's finish. Dimensions: 9.25" x 7" x 1" (23.5 cm x 18 cm x 2.75 cm)
