A travel pod and orbital office complex design hand-painted by renowned storyboard artist and production illustrator Andrew Probert for Robert Wise's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Kirk (William Shatner) and Scotty (James Doohan) took the travel pod to the newly upgraded USS Enterprise.

The lot features a hand-painted concept piece of the travel pod departing the office complex rendered in mixed media on illustration board. Probert's signature appears along the planet's edge with the date "4.12.78." It comes wrapped in a paper covering hand marked with a thumbnail sketch of the image. This piece exhibits edge wear to the right side and glue residue along the bottom. Dimensions: 57.25 cm x 28 cm x 0.75 cm (22.5" x 11" x 0.25")
