A USS Enterprise engineering tool and helmet with a printed schematic of the vessel from Robert Wise's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Starfleet engineers wore their helmets as they worked on the warp core of the newly refitted Enterprise. Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) continually ran into problems on his tour of the updated spaceship, including a warp core breach caused by subspace disturbance from V'Ger's presence, which chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott (James Doohan) and other warp drive engineers attempted to fix before the maiden voyage took place.

This lot consists of a white resin engineering tool with red acrylic and vinyl details applied throughout; a cast resin helmet painted white with a black Starfleet insignia on front; and a black-and-white printed schematic of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701. The helmet does not include the front visor or ribbed front as seen in the final cut. The lot exhibits extensive cracking resin on the tool and helmet, as well as discoloration on the print.
