A USS Enterprise warp core ring from Robert Wise's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. After the new systems in the USS Enterprise failed, Commander Spock (Leonard Nimoy) returned as a science officer and re-balanced the engines - which were encircled by magnetic rings - back into full warp capability.

As the engine room set was being demolished following filming, this fiberglass ring was recovered by renowned production illustrator Andrew Probert. It originates from Probert's collection and is believed to be the last surviving ring from the set.

The ring is textured and painted to appear metallic with a black inner ring. It exhibits some discoloration and scuffing along the outer and inner sides of the ring from production use and age. Dimensions: 15" x 15" x 2" (38 cm x 38 cm x 5 cm)
