A photo-matched Starfleet Academy USS Excelsior information display from the Paramount television series Star Trek: Picard. In the Season 2 episode "The Star Gazer," Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Raffi Musiker (Michelle Hurd), and Elnor (Evan Evagora) visited the Starfleet Academy, where displays with information regarding the organization's many historic starships lined the halls. Distinctive markings along the frame and paint blots on the interior of this display's stand photo-match to a behind-the-scenes photograph from the episode posted by series production designer Dave Blass.

This display features a silver-painted, resin-coated compressed wood base with a blue transparent acrylic screen featuring an image of the USS Excelsior ship as well as its call sign "NCC-2000" in white vinyl. The bottom of the screen features a blue and silver-color resin Starfleet Academy emblem along with a silver-color hard plastic engraved plaque with information about the ship as well as an Easter Egg reference to Hikaru Sulu's captaincy of the Excelsior as seen in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Also included is an additional placard made by production without reference to Sulu. This lot exhibits minor chipping to the paint on the front and back of the base, as well as a buildup of grime from storage. Dimensions: 20" x 33" x 63" (51 cm x 84 cm x 160 cm)
