A Mariano Diaz hand-drawn Romulan committee member costume sketch from the production of Stuart Baird's 2002 sci-fi sequel Star Trek: Nemesis. Members of the Romulan Senate debated an offer of alliance from the Reman rebel leader Shinzon (Tom Hardy). The costume was designed by Academy Award®-nominated costume designer Bob Ringwood and rendered by Diaz in pencil on paper.

The sketch features a front view of a Romulan committee member. He is depicted wearing bracers, flowing robes and an undergarment with a high collar. At his chest is the Eagle emblem of the Romulan Star Empire. Diaz’s autograph is hand-signed in pencil at the bottom of the illustration along with “Romulan Committee” and “2001”. The letter ‘H’ has been marked in the top right corner for reference.

The edges of the artwork have been cut unevenly and they display some creasing, but overall the lot remains in very good condition.
