A PADD computer from the ninth Star Trek film, Star Trek: Insurrection. Sent to a remote planet, the crew of the Enterprise find Data (Brent Spiner) damaged and a peaceful colony under siege from Starfleet and alien Son’a observers. The agrarian Ba’ku, however, are hiding a secret – the planet’s radiation prevents aging, making it a veritable fountain of youth. Can the Enterprise save the Ba’ku before Starfleet and the Son’a can take the world by force?
This style of PADD was used by the Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) and other members of the Federation as they try to save the Ba’ku from the vengeful Son’a, with such PADDs Piled on Picard’s desk in his quarters. The hand-held computer is made of resin with metal plating used to give the computer a futuristic appearance. The screen features an applique that, when a switch us activated on the side, lights up to look like a functioning computer screen. The text on the PADD’s screen is full of former crew members from the Enterprise’s past, used commonly throughout Star Trek's various series and its films as filler text for computer screens.

Featuring some wear from production use, the PADD remains in overall good condition.
