Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

Ralph McQuarrie Matte Concept Painting - San Francisco Waterfront

Stock #49461

A San Francisco waterfront stufy painting for Leonard Nimoy's 1984 installment of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. In this movie, Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) and his bridge crew risk their careers stealing the decommissioned Enterprise to return to the restricted Genesis planet to recover Spock's (Leonard Nimoy) body.

Legendary concept designer Ralph McQuarrie created this study as a preliminary work for a full-size matte painting. The piece depicts a waterfront view of San Francisco as well as a partial view of the Golden Gate Bridge and is accomplished in acrylics, ink and colored pencil. The rendering is attached to a sheet of heavy card stock with white tape.

The item shows minor wear to the corners, however is in otherwise good overall condition.
