This item is an Eel puppet from the planet Genesis used in the sci-fi classic Star Trek III: The Search For Spock. The puppet can be seen in the film when it attacks Cmdr. Kruge (Christopher Lloyd,) the ruthless commander of a Klingon Bird of Prey on a strange planet named Genesis.
The item is made of foam latex painted red and has been sculpted to resemble scaly skin of a fierce creature that is not of this world. The puppet has a large body piece in the center which features a detailed design including numerous veins, as well as long cylindrical tentacles on both sides of the flat body section. One tentacle serves as the tail of the piece, whereas the other has an opening with two small horns sprouting from the end of the piece.
This item is in very good condition.
