Ambassador Sarek's (Mark Lenard) Vulcan ear appliances from Leonard Nimoy's Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. Sarek, Spock's (Leonard Nimoy) father and a Vulcan ambassador to humanity, met with Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) to discuss Spock's death during the events of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Sarek was considered Lenard's signature role, with the actor portraying the pointy-eared Vulcan previously in The Original Series and The Animated Series as well as later in The Next Generation.

This pair of foam latex ear tip makeup appliances originated from a member of Lenard's family. Both are painted brown with a sculpted helix ridge and a pronounced antihelix distinctive to Vulcans. They exhibit some discoloration and flaking from use and age, as well as a bright pink paint splotch on one ear. Dimensions: (each) 2" x 2.5" x 0.25" (5.25 cm x 6.5 cm x 0.75 cm)
