Khan's (Ricardo Montalban) Hero Wrist Communicator from Nicholas Meyer's 1982 film, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. In the film, the genetically enhanced tyrant Khan Noonien Singh escapes from exile and plots his revenge against Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and the crew of the starship USS Enterprise. Having been marooned on Ceti Alpha V for fifteen years, Khan's wardrobe and accessories consist of many found items and scrap electronics. Khan's wrist communicator, which is worn throughout the film, can be screen matched due to sight specific wear on the metal plating.
This item was crafted from a variety of materials, and features a number of static electronic components fastened to a makeshift bracelet. The wristband is constructed from two pieces of soft leather that fasten with Velcro and a single snap button. This item features minor wear from production use and age (see photos) however it remains in remarkably good condition.
