Worf's (Michael Dorn) spacesuit from Jonathan Frakes' sci-fi sequel Star Trek: First Contact. Worf, Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Hawk (Neal McDonough) donned their spacesuits when they ventured onto the hull of the USS Enterprise-E to stop the Borg.

The spacesuit is quite elaborate in design and construction and went against some of the original philosophies behind the creation of Star Trek. At its outset, Gene Roddenberry tried to avoid using spacesuits and other expensive costumes due to the budgetary restraints imposed by the production company. There was only one episode, The Tholian Web (episode 64 air date 15/11/68), from the original series that featured a spacesuit. It wasn't until several suits were constructed for use in First Contact that they began to crop up in subsequent episodes.

Designed by Deborah Everton, the costume comprises a white vac-formed plastic helmet featuring a clear visor; a thick chest guard, a silver-and-white thick weave fabric spacesuit with white Spandex added to the chest; and a pair of boots. The spacesuit is decorated with various pipes and tubing. Red-coloured quilting detailing features on the chest and boots. Controls and light detailing feature on the helmet interior, right sleeve and leg.

Labelled "Michael Dorn", this costume also bears the additional character names "Tuvok" (Tim Russ), "Kim" (Garrett Wang) and actor names "Andrew Robinson" (Garak) and "Robert Beltran" (Chakotay) and also "Ethan", suggesting this suit was subsequently used in Star Trek Voyager. The name "Josh" is also written inside the helmet. The spacesuit displays light wear from production use.
