A studio-scale model prototype of the USS Akira from Jonathan Frakes' sci-fi action Star Trek: First Contact. It was made by Quantum Mechanix (QMx) as a proof-of-concept.

This resin and polystyrene model is painted blue gray with various blue-gray shades of Aztec patterns; dark gray and antique gold-color painted facets to resemble metal; black paint fill for window slots; acrylic nacelle inlays; decals of the ship's name, registry, Starfleet pennants, and escape pods; mounted on a black acrylic base. This lot exhibits paint chipping with minor scratching and scuffing. Dimensions: (on display) 18" x 12" x 4.5" (45.75 cm x 31.75 cm x 11.5 cm)
