A Spider-Man (Tobey Maguire) test costume display from the production of Sam Raimi's superhero film Spider-Man. Test costumes are an integral part of the fabrication process and are used in pre-production to assess the construction of different costumes. The Spider-Man costume evolved over the course of the film as Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) refined the style, until he settled upon the iconic red-and-blue outfit prior to his fight against the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe).

Designed by three-time Academy Award®-winner James Acheson, this spandex costume is presented in a custom-built display with a black wooden frame, a laser-cut mount board and an acrylic pane. Fixed by screws to the base of the mount board is a gold-coloured metal plate with the engraving "SPIDERMAN (2002) - Production made Spiderman torso fabric". At the rear of the frame are metal hanging brackets.
