Peter Parker’s (Tobey Maguire) sport coat from the production of Sam Raimi’s 2004 superhero sequel, Spider-Man 2. Peter battles troubles in his personal relations as he tries to keep the truth behind his superhero alter-ego hidden as well as facing a maniacal genius known as “Dr. Ock.” Early in the film, Peter can be seen wearing a blue blazer as he goes to see his friend Mary-Jane’s (Kirsten Dunst) theatre performance.
Made from 100% cotton, this coat is navy blue in color with a dark blue cupro lining. The jacket is single breasted with three buttons and a double cutaway at the back. There are three pockets on the outside of the piece, one left breast and two at the waist; however both waist pockets are still sealed. The interior of the coat features four pockets – one on the right and three on the left. A tag remains tucked within the right interior pocket with fabric materials while the only other tag is located at the nape and simply reads “Made in Italy.”
This piece shows little signs of wear and remains in very good condition.
