A set of tentacle tips used in the production of the comic book action-adventure ‘Spiderman 2’. Having given up the superhero life to try and focus on his day jobs and college career, Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is called back to duty to fight Dr Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), who after a tragic failed nuclear fusion experiment becomes the nefarious Doctor Octopus.
These pieces were used throughout the film as “Doc Ock”, controlled by his tentacles, went about trying to complete his reactor experiment, with these pieces used for the manipulator tips at the end of one of the tentacles. The set is comprised of a resin tentacle tip with three interior tentacle “fingers” made of rubber. The solid resin tip has holes in the rear for fitting to a mechanical tentacle arm, while the rubber manipulator tips are hollow so they could be attached to an arm mech. The pieces are covered in an array of mechanical detailing. The pieces are finished in steel paint with distressing applied to make them look hard worn from their battles with Spider-Man.

Well-used on the production and distressed for use, the set remains in overall good condition.
