A Sil (Natasha Henstridge) cocoon squid puppet from Roger Donaldson's Species. Sil emerged from her alien cocoon in squid form, bursting from the cocoon's isolation box and wreaking havoc until Dr. Stephen Arden (Alfred Molina) could help Dr. Laura Baker (Marg Helgenberger) and Preston "Press" Lennox (Michael Madsen) escape and set the experiment room on fire. The squid version was brought to life with a combination of live-action puppetry and computer-generated imagery

This static squid-like alien puppet is made of rubber with a metal armature. It features a ribbed and suction-cup like sculpt throughout. It was painted in shades of punk, purple, and off-white to give it an organic alien-like appearance. This lot exhibits exposed rubber, exposed metal, and discoloration. Dimensions: 49" x 8" x 7" (124.5 cm x 20.25 cm x 18 cm)
