A costume worn in the acclaimed Starz TV series Spartacus: Vengeance. The second season of the show follows the exploits of the Thracian gladiator-turned-freedom fighter Spartacus (Liam McIntyre) as he and the warriors from the ludus of Batiatus begin their campaigns against the Romans around Capua, struggling to balance their thirst for vengeance with the greater needs of their growing slave community.
This costume was worn in the fifth episode, “Libertus”, as gladiators begin the games’ proceedings prior to the day’s Primus – the execution of Oenomaus (Peter Mensah), Crixus (Manu Bennett) and Rhaskos (Ioane King) at the hands of the legendary Capuan gladiator, and their former friend, Gannicus (Dustin Clare).

The costume is composed of a rubber and fibreglass helmet with blue and black feathers running up the crown, a sword-arm protective sleeve made of blanket-like material with faux-metal plates and cloth ties, a leather belt with brown and faux-gold detailing, and a blue and silver wrap. Intentionally distressed to look like hard-worn garments that have seen plenty of action within the arena, the costume is covered in dirty and grime, with plenty of distressing applied to the helmet.

Well used on the production, the costume remains in an overall very good condition and has no sizes marked.
