Spartacus' (Andy Whitfield) murmillo gladius and gladiator helmet from the Starz historical action series Spartacus. Roman-trained gladiator Spartacus wielded his gladius in arena combat throughout Season 1, wearing his helmet while facing experienced fighter Crixus (Manu Bennett).

This lot consists of a faux steel sword featuring a curved wooden grip and matching pommel with slatted lines engraved on both; and a resin and metal galea-style helmet featuring a two-layer feathered metal crest, defensive curved details on the front, large circular openings by the eyes, and a padded interior with a leather chinstrap. Also included is a Starz Certificate of Authenticity. Both exhibit intentional battle damage from production, as well as some chipping from use. Dimensions (gladius): 68.75 cm x 9 cm x 9 cm (27" x 3.5" x 3.5")
