A Murmillo gladiator's helmet from Steven S. DeKnight's Spartacus. Thracian soldier Spartacus (Andy Whitfield/Liam McIntyre) was enslaved and forced to fight against a number of vicious, well-armored gladiators in the arena throughout the series. Helmets of this style appeared in both Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Vengeance.

This slotted, split-faced helmet is constructed from vinyl and fiberglass, painted and textured to resemble worked bronze, and inset on top with an ornate synthetic feather crest. It features leather chin straps and fabric padding on the interior hand-labeled "Glued In" by production. The helmet is intentionally distressed by production with nicks and splits to appear battle-damaged.
