Set of three hand-painted premiere foyer display artworks for Robert Wise's The Sound of Music. Created by artist Jock Hinchcliffe, these illustrations were displayed inside the foyer of the Dominion Theatre, where the film's Royal European premiere took place on 1 April 1965. The film was subsequently screened at the theatre for just over three years, and these artworks were kept on display throughout its run. Each illustration shows a scene from the film, including Maria (Julie Andrews) on her wedding day. The artwork is rendered in gouache on illustration board signed by Hinchcliffe.

Condition: Very Fine

All have some minor handling wear and light staining but the artwork itself remains largely unaffected.
