A Hero SFX Gwendy Doll Puppet from Joe Dante's 1996 family film, Small Soldiers. In the film, the Commando Elite enlists a pack of Gwendy dolls as reinforcements by bringing them to life with the power chip taken from a fallen comrade. This puppet is featured in the scene in which the Commando Elite bring a set of Gwendy Doll's to life.
Created by legendary special effects company, Stan Winston Studios, the Gwendy puppet has a remarkable attention to detail with a resin body over interior mechanics. This headless toy features production made cuts, burns, staples, screws, and hardware from the Commando Elite's modifications, and includes a number of cable controls protruding from the rear of Gwendy's Army print underwear. Although she doesn't have a head, a pair of white eyes are connected to the neck via metal components.
Although crafted to appear disheveled, this item remains in very good condition.
