An Archer Head Display from Joe Dante's 1998 family film, Small Soldiers. In the film, a toy manufacture attempts to advance toy sales by outfitting their newest line of action figures with artificial intelligence, supplied by weapons-grade missile technology. Now, the action figures begin to take their jobs a little too seriously, and wage war in the middle of a small suburban town.
This head is of Archer, the leader of the Gorgonites. Made from silicone cast over a resin structure, this heavily detailed face depicts Archer with a cheery grin. He has been painted in varying shades of brown and red, with green eyes. This item features minor wear from production use and age, including a slight cut just above his left eyebrow (see photos).
Archer comes presented on a a custom built wooden display with the films title on the front of the base. The title can also be illuminated by depressing a button on the back of the display. This piece is in good production used condition.
