A framed, original hand-painted animation cel used in the production of The Simpsons episode "The Homer They Fall" which is episode three of season eight.

After taking all the punches from three bullies at Moe's Tavern but still standing, Moe decides to train Homer as a boxer. The tactic is simple: let the opponent tire themselves out by punching Homer, then push them over when they're exhausted. Homer's reputation as a punching bag eventually sees him in the ring with world heavyweight champion Drederick Tatum (heavily based on Mike Tyson). This cel setup is the moment directly after Homer takes Tatum's first punch to the face.

Presented framed against a presentation background and bearing the 20th Century Fox seal in the bottom corner, this original hand-painted cel is a surviving example of The Simpsons' traditional animation methods before the transition to digital after season 13. Dimensions (framed): 47.5 x 40.5 cm (18.75" x 16")
