A sold-out limited edition sericel created by Matt Groening titled "Breakfast With The Simpsons".

This energetic setup depicts a typical chaotic breakfast in the Simpsons household. Bart up to his usual antics and throwing cereal at Lisa while she reads "Non-Threatening Boys Magazine". Homer his typical self drooling over pancakes with syrup dripping down his front. Meanwhile Maggie is feeding milk to the cat and Marge is looking lovingly at Homer.

There are a few Easter eggs as well including Stampy the elephant stealing a doughnut through the window, a newspaper with the headline "Sideshow Bob Escapes!" and Millhouse advertised as missing on the milk carton.

Limited edition such as this were produced by the studio to offer collectors the opportunity to own officially sanctioned artwork in scenes that could never be released as original production cels. For each episode, only one original setup exists, making it impossible to satisfy the demand from fans and collectors. By creating a controlled number of hand-painted editions, the studio ensured that the artistry and humour of The Simpsons could be enjoyed by many rather than held in a single private collection.

These editions were released internationally and sold out quickly, becoming cherished centrepieces in private collections around the world. After years of being proudly displayed and enjoyed, examples such as this are now re-entering the market, offering new collectors the chance to acquire a piece of Simpsons history. As the series continues to hold its record as the longest-running animated show in television history, the cultural significance and collectability of artwork like this only continues to grow.
