A hand-painted master background of Moe's Tavern used in the fan-favorite episode "Flaming Moe's" being the tenth episode of season three.

With Moe's Tavern in financial trouble and running out of beer, Homer tells Moe the ingredients to a drink he calls the "Flaming Homer". Moe steals the recipe and takes credit for inventing the cocktail that has now made him famous.

These background cels are far rarer than character cels as they are only used once per scene and, unlike character cels, don't change through the animation process. Fox studios did release some background early on in the official arts program but they have since stopped in favor of cels that feature characters.

This original cel bears the official 20th Century Fox Animation Arts seal. Dimensions: 12.5" x 10.75" (31.5 x 27 cm)
