An original production background of Springfield Elementary School colored in blue and purple to show an evening or nighttime establishing shot.

These background cels are far rarer than character cels as they are only used once per scene and, unlike character cels, don't change through the animation process. Fox studios did release some background early on in the official arts program but they have since stopped in favor of cels that feature characters.

This original cel bears the official 20th Century Fox Animation Arts seal. Dimensions: 12.5" x 10.5" (31.5 x 26.5 cm)
