A backup camouflage alien arm from the production M. Night Shyamalan's Signs. The alien that Ray Reddy (Shyamalan) locked in his pantry grabbed at Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) when he peered under the door, its arm camouflaged to blend into Reddy's brick-patterned linoleum floor.

This silicone sleeve alien arm - painted with a detailed brick pattern as a backup for the arm seen in the final cut - was mounted over a mechanical armature during filming that Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) puppeteers used to make it strike out from under the door. Now, the arm is mounted to a custom-made wooden display base that allows the arm to rotate in front of a section of brick-patterned linoleum lifted from the actual Signs film set, demonstrating the camouflage effect. The display additionally features the film's title logo. The arm exhibits some minor air pocketing and flash from the casting process. Dimensions: 11.5" x 11.5" x 27.5" (29.25 cm x 29.25 cm x 70 cm)
