Alejandro Gillick's (Benicio Del Toro) tactical costume from Stefano Sollima's Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Sicario Alejandro wore his tactical vest over his ensemble when his convoy transporting Isabel Reyes (Isabela Merced) was ambushed by a corrupt police escort. In the chaos, Isabel escaped, forcing Alejandro to find and recover her in Mexico.
This ensemble consists of:
- A padded cotton and nylon blend tactical vest with plastic accessories, self-adhesive strip closures, a rubber stunt walkie-talkie wrapped in tape, and stunt foam magazines in the pockets.
- A pullover polyester jacket with an adhesive label hand-marked "8 #1" on the interior.
- A pair of leather and nylon tactical gloves with a wardrobe tag hand-marked "#1 Alejandro B Gloves Back Up."
- A pair of denim pants with an adhesive label hand-marked "#1 Clean" on the interior.
- Five additional foam pieces for the vest.
The costume shows evidence of wear consistent with on-set use, handling, and age, including discoloration on the vest and pilled fabric on the jacket.
