A collection of production material from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, comprising a handwritten letter by Kubrick, a pair of typed letters signed by him, and an extensive archive of call sheets from the film's production.

The handwritten letter, dated "7 May 1979," is written in green ink on lined paper and addressed to "Paul." In it, Kubrick notes that he will not be conducting any interviews until closer to the film's release. The two typed letters, addressed to "Mr. John Skinner," concern Elstree Studios' electrical supply and contacts for two stages. One is signed by Kubrick in blue ink, the other in black pen.

Accompanying the correspondence are 171 production call sheets, numbered between 1 and 228, spanning May 1978 to April 1979. Several bear the handwritten name "Andrew Mitchell," who, though uncredited, served as manager of Elstree Studios during the production. Sheets numbered 10 and 35 appear in duplicate.

The paperwork shows expected age and handling from production, including folded corners, light creasing, and some minor discolouration at the edges.
