A pneumatic tube canister tube from Russell Mulcahy's The Shadow. As a means of keeping communication, Lamont Cranston (Alec Baldwin) used a city-wide pneumatic system to receive messages for his vigilante alter ego The Shadow. A member of the police force wrote a message to The Shadow after his unit investigated the museum where Shiwan Khan (John Lone) escaped from Genghis Khan's sarcophagus, and sent it through a mail slot in a nearby building that was connected to the pneumatic system. This messenger tube is comprised of a clear acrylic tube with gold-colored closures and rings. It exhibits a missing end cap. Dimensions: 10" x 3" x 2.5" (25.5 cm x 7.75 cm x 6.5 cm)
