An artist's proof fine art photographic print featuring an image of the Sex Pistols taken by photographer Ray Stevenson. This shot was taken outside the Majestic Studios, London when the Sex Pistols made their first studio recording with Chris Spedding on 15 May 1976. This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.

The image shows Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock. This giclee print is presented on archival 310gsm cotton-based rag paper, labelled "AP" and is signed in pencil by Stevenson. Dimensions: 29.75 cm x 42 cm (11.75" x 16.5")

Additional provenance:

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998. Rockarchive now comprises an impressive collection of over 1000 images by more than 100 photographers and graphic designers, allowing fans and collectors to purchase limited-edition prints featuring music's most established artists. This lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity co-signed by Jill Furmanovsky.
