Offered in this lot is a scarce poster for the Sex Pistols' only studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.

This printed poster was issued to promote the band's first and only studio album, which was issued by Virgin Records and released in the UK on October 28, 1977. This example is rolled in outstanding unrestored condition and displays only small corner creases, a tiny stain, a small upper edge tear and a light horizontal crease through and near "SEX." The bright colors add to the poster's fresh appearance on this unrestored example.

The Sex Pistols are an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although their career lasted only two and a half years, they became one of the most culturally influential acts in popular music. The band played a key role in initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspired many later punk, post-punk, and alternative rock musicians. Their only studio album, *Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols* (1977), reached number one in the UK and is considered seminal in the development of punk rock.
