A limited edition fine art photographic print featuring an image of Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen taken by the late photographer Richard Mann in 1978. The picture was taken during a private party at Richard Branson's house in Ladbroke Grove, London, for a Record Mirror commission to be used in a piece focusing on the tumultuous relationship of the pair. This lot is part of the Rockarchive Collection.
This giclee print is printed on archival 310gsm cotton-based rag paper, hand-numbered "5/100", and signed by Mann in pencil. Dimensions: 42 cm x 59.5 cm (16.5" x 23.25")
Richard Mann recalled:
"This was the middle part of a Record Mirror commission to illustrate a piece on Sid and Nancy's relationship. At this point, they were happy to pose and presumably found the surroundings harmonious".

This lot comes from the Rockarchive Collection, founded by acclaimed music photographer Jill Furmanovsky in 1998.
