Sergeant Horvath's (Tom Sizemore) helmet from Steven Spielberg's Academy Award®- winning war drama Saving Private Ryan, together with a photograph from the production. Horvath wore his helmet throughout the film as he and his squad accompanied Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) on a mission to rescue Private James Ryan (Matt Damon).

The steel M1 helmet features a fibreglass liner with a green webbing chinstrap. Markings on the rear of the helmet include a painted number two inside an orange diamond with a white line underneath, signifying the wearer was a sergeant of the 2nd Ranger Battalion. The olive-green helmet is autographed in silver-coloured ink by Tom Sizemore, Edward Burns, Barry Pepper, Adam Goldberg, Giovanni Ribisi and Jeremy Davies. Several of the autographs feature dedicated messages "to Sean". Accompanying the helmet is a black-and-white still showing a headshot of Sizemore in the role of Sergeant Horvath. A small section of the helmet's green paint has chipped just above Burns' signature, and the metal has become exposed in places around the lower rim.
